Light Bearers

💡“Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept” (Matthew 5:14 MSG).💡

A LightBearer can’t shine without a power source.

QUESTION: How can we make sure our spiritual batteries are charged?

ANSWER: By nurturing our spirits as we grow together in community with Jesus as our energy supply.

Our spiritual foundation is formed by:

·      Our habits (godly practices such as studying God’s Word, praying, worshiping, serving)

·      Our relationships (our inner circle of influencers)

·      Our scripts (our past, present, and future stories that guide us)

Questions to use as a personal light-meter to test our stories;

·      Who is in my formation story?

·      Who is writing my story?

·      Who is the center of my story?

When the answer to all three is Jesus, we can be certain that our signal will be bright enough to shine the Light of the World to blot out the darkness.💡
